Cement tiles are handmade, and thus have a natural look to them. They will have the characteristics of a natural product, in that there will be shade variations and colour variations between each batch of tiles produced. The colours in the showroom are only representative of the colours that will be produced during the production run.

The tiles are made of a rich mix of cement and the most expensive colours, carefully blended and milled, to give them a special lustre and glowing colours. The colours are matched as closely as possible to the approved tile sample, but some variation should be expected, even with each lot of tiles. The setting process of cement, like the heating of certain Chinese porcelain glazes, creates fine cracks known as crazing. This does not weaken the tile in any way, but enhances the tile with an antique look. To reduce the crazing effect, the tiles need to be stored in shade and installed immediately.

Since each tile is handmade, it will take anywhere between 30 to 45 days to deliver the order.
