MURADASSHU TYPE A - by SIAN PASCAL
The design of ‘Japanese Line’ was primarily inspired by the ideas in the book ‘In Praise of Shadows’ - a Japanese essay on aesthetics written in the 1930s by Junichiro Tanizaki. Muradasshu was inspired and much used in Sian’s pottery practice, this line of dashes is simple but yet can form a vibrant pattern on the floor.
